World Health Day theme set as My Health, My Right

In commemoration of the day of the adoption of the Organization's Charter, the World Health Organization was officially established at the first World Health Assembly of the United Nations held in Geneva in June 1948. It was decided to designate April 7th as World Health Day each year and various commemorative activities were advocated for all countries.

The World Health Organization has designated the theme of World Health Day on April 7, 2024 as "My Health, My Rights", aiming to promote the right of everyone to access quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, suitable housing, work and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination.
